Research and Evaluation

How can I demonstrate that my project or intervention has been successful? - This is something we are frequently asked. HHC can help you interpret data that you may already have, assist with report writing, preparation for publication or design and deliver a complete evaluation package. Also check out the training and coaching page for information on research and evaluation methods training packages.

Dr Hilton and her team are skilled in a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation methods. We can help you match the methods to the impact you want to explore. You can review Dr Hilton's publication profile here

The Exercise Referral Quality of Life Scale (ER-QLS)
If you wish to evaluate the impact of a physical activity/structured exercise intervention on the life-quality of those who attended, the ER-QLS is a validated tool that is free to use for research/evaluation or in practice. It is the only quality of life (QoL) measure that has been rigorously tested for reliability and validity and is currently being utilised in the UK and internationally. Review the research outlining the reliability and validity tests here and here. You may request a copy of the measure and accompanying resources via email.
